Tented and Outdoor Events
The estate’s 45 acres of gardens and lawns provides a beautiful setting for your tented reception, from the smallest to the largest of gatherings. The spacious green lawns allow flexibility in arrangements, so that each function can to be sited in a special place. Surrounded by large evergreens and magnificent hardwoods, the beautifully maintained grounds are an attractive setting for all manner of gatherings. Gore Place maintains an elegant three season tent on the grounds available from May to November.
The Carriage House
The rustic 1793 Carriage House is one of the few remaining structures of this type remaining intact in New England. The building offers an informal setting for small gatherings, holding up to 100 guests. Completely handicap accessible, the Carriage House features two restrooms (one is handicap accessible),and a small kitchen. The interior has cream colored plaster walls with grey wooden wainscoting and dark brown barn-board floors. The Carriage House is also open for those who hold receptions or events in our Tent facility.
